Shared Memories: Andrea Boyd

I met Caia through Swing Dancing, and we became friends. I loved how she always made sure that there were no stragglers at the dance workshops. When we went for lunch, she’d look around and if someone looked alone and lost, she’d invite them along. Dancing and hanging out with Caia was FUN. She had a tremendous spirit, and she was smart and funny. One year for New Years we decided to go to the Cat’s Corner dance, and go for Sushi before hand. (I didn’t really like Sushi, but I loved the IDEA of Sushi!) We dressed up and ate fancy food and then danced. What better way to spend New Years Eve? Caia was also a very caring person, who understood that people aren’t perfect, and she accepted them nonetheless.
